IBPS RRB Recruitment 2017 – Complete Selection Process for Officers Scale-I, II & III and Office Assistant Posts
IBPS RRB CRP (Common Recruitment Process) is a banking recruitment examination that is conducted to hire suitable candidates in various participating rural banks for the posts of Officers, Managers, Assistant Manager, and Office Assistant. The exam is usually conducted once every year.

IBPS RRB Recruitment Process involves the following three stages:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination/ Single Examination
- Common Interview
IBPS will conduct a preliminary exam a few days after the online application is finished. The preliminary exam is held only for Office Assistant & Officer Scale-I posts. Candidates, who have applied for any of these posts, will have to appear in the prelim exam. IBPS RRB Preliminary exam structure (pattern) and syllabus are available at the link below.
Main Examination/ Single Examination
Office Assistant & Officer Scale-I aspirants who qualify in the preliminary exam are called for the main examination round a few days after. The admit cards for IBPS RRB Main examination will be uploaded on the official website. It is mandatory for candidates to achieve the qualifying score in each subject of the prelim exam to be eligible for the main examination.
Candidates, who have applied for the Officer Scale-II & Scale-III posts, will have to appear only in a single level examination that will be conducted along with RRB Main Exam. The selection of candidates for the interview round will be based on their performance in the single level exam.
IBPS will conduct a common interview only for Officer Scale-I, II & III posts. The interview will be conducted for the candidates who get selected in the final merit list based on RRB Main examination and the single level examination. The common interview will be held by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the assist of IBPS and NABARD. Interviews may be conducted at multiple centers in major cities. The qualified candidates will be individually notified of the interview schedule and process.
IBPS common interview will be held for maximum 100 marks. The minimum cutoff score for the interview will be 40% (35% for SC / ST/OBC/PWD candidates) for Officers Scale-I, II and III. The final IBPS RRB score will be decided in the 80:20 ratio of CWE and interview for the Officers posts. Candidates must qualify both in the online exam and interview to be shortlisted for the allotment process.
