IBPS RRB VI CRP 2017 Notification Released

IBPS RRB recruitment process involves a preliminary examination and the main examination for Office Assistant and Officers posts. The detailed exam pattern and syllabus for both exams are available on this page.

IBPS RRB Online Examination Pattern – Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

RRB online Examination for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts will be conducted according to the following structure.

Preliminary Examination (objective)

Candidates will have to qualify the minimum cut-off marks in each of two papers to qualify for the main examination.

Other Important Points about the online examination

  • Exam mode: online for all papers for all posts
  • Penalty for wrong answers: 1/4 of the marks assigned to that question
  • Candidates will have to qualify the total cut-off score of the exam as well as the cut-off of individual tests (subjects).
  • Based on the exam score, IBPS will select candidates not more than three times of the available posts.
  • For Officer Assistant posts, the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the Main Examination. There will be no interview for this post.

Unfortunately, IBPS has not defined any clear or definitive syllabus for its recruitment exams. You can check the list of subjects/tests in the above tables for each exam in the IBPS RRB recruitment process. The syllabus for each paper will cover the general topics from the subject.

It is recommended to follow a good IBPS preparation book for the specific post. IBPS RRB books include the subject-wise syllabus and sample papers for the online exam.
