CBSE NET 2015 Application Form, Apply Online for UGC NET 2015 on or before 15.05.2015

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the notification for the National Eligibility Test (NET) examination, which will be conducted on 28th June 2015. NET exam is conducted for testing the eligibility of candidates for the posts of Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellowship in various Indian colleges & Universities. Eligibility Criteria for NET 2015

Education Qualification: Minimum 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc. (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates)

Those, who are appearing in the final year of Master’s degree can also apply for NET exam.

Age limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01.06.2015 for the post of Junior Research Fellowship. Age relaxation of 5 years for OBC/SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates. No upper age limit for the exam of Assistant Professor.

List of UGC NET Subjects

Post Details

Junior Research Fellowship: Those, who qualify for the Junior Research Fellowship post, can pursue research in their post-graduation subject or in a related subject. Theses candidates are also eligible for Assistant Professor posts.

Assistant Professor: Those, who are qualified for Assistant Professor, will be appointed as Assistant Professor in one of the universities in India.

Originally conducted and managed by the University Grant Commission (UGC), NET exam is conducted every year. Since past year, CBSE is responsible for conducting the examination on behalf of UGC.

CBSE NET 2015 Exam Fee

Rs.600/- for General category applicants and Rs.300/- for OBC and Rs.150/- for SC/ST/PWD applicants

Application fee can be paid either online by credit/debit card or by using e-challan available on the website to pay at any branch of Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank.

  • Last Date for Submission of Application Fee: 16.05.2015

  2. Click on “Apply for NET JUNE-2015” and Proceed to Apply Online
  3. Fill in the details and Click on ‘NEXT’ button
  4. Upload photograph & Signature and move NEXT
  5. Pay application fee online or download the challan form
  6. Confirm the details and Submit the application
  7. Take a print out the application form
